For 18 years, the University of Antwerp and KU Leuven have relied on data from Belgium's largest property group for the ERA Barometer: an annual assessment of the property market. This price index considers, among other things, the size, finish and location of homes that have been sold. As a result, the figures reflect the price evolution of similar homes and do not compare apples and oranges.
